EXAIR has expanded its Long Super Ion Air Knives to a range from 60in (1,524mm) through to a maximum length of 108in (2,743mm).
All knives of 60in (1,524mm) and longer are now made by a one-piece construction. The new one-piece construction ensures seamless airflow and eliminates coupling multiple short length air knives together. One-piece construction decreases overall height by ½in, making it better for tight spaces. EXAIR offers an unmatched selection of materials and sizes within its Super Air Knife product line, from 3in to 108in in aluminium, 303 and 316 stainless steel.
EXAIR’s Longer Super Ion Air Knives neutralise static electricity while blowing away dust and particulates from wide webs and printed surfaces, paper, plastics, wood, acrylic and three dimensional shapes. The wide laminar airstream full of static eliminating ions is effective at high speeds and provides superior cleaning up to 6.1m away. Poor print quality, dust attraction, tearing, jamming and related equipment downtime can be eliminated from processes such as laminating, printing, routing and thermoforming.
Available from Compressed Air Australia, the Long Super Ion Air Knife is highly-efficient and adjustable. It will operate effectively down to five PSIG and use a minimal amount of compressed air to entrain high volumes of surrounding room air.
The shockless design is UL component recognised to US and Canadian safety standards, and there are no moving parts to wear out. A factory-installed plumbing kit is also available that makes it easy to connect Long Super Ion Air Knives to any plant’s compressed air system and obtain the best performance.
